The Guinea was worth 1 pound and 1 shilling. It was once worth exactly 1 pound, but because of the increase of gold prices, it was increased by 1 shilling. Although the guinea was replaced by the pound, it is still used in house selling, horse racing and luxury items. Menu

The Gold Mohur is worth 1 pound, 17 shillings and 6 pence. This coins was also used in the British East Indian Company. They probably came from Bengal Menu

Because of the shortage of coins, they just punched holes in the Spanish Coins. The outer ring of the coin was worth 5 shillings and was called the Holey dollar.
