What Is Online Banking? Online Banking is a way for consumers to quickly and efficiently handle financial transactions without going to their local bank. In Stephen Rampur’s article, “What is Internet Banking?,” he states, “In this procedure, many financial transactions can be carried out by simply utilizing a computer with Internet connection. Since all you need is access to a computer or a mobile device that has internet capabilities, many people are becoming online bankers.

Things You Need To Bank Online o Bank account number. o Active bank account. o Debit or Credit card number. o Customer User ID and password. o Computer or mobile device with internet access.

Benefits of Online Banking o Consumers do not have to wait in long lines anymore. o Online Banking is “Free.” o It allows you to monitor your account on a daily basis. o Online Banking lets users transfer funds nationally or internationally. o Very eco-friendly, reduces paper usage.
