We Must Go…

Time to draw a line in the sand? but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phil 3 v.13

Are we ready for the journey?  We only need to take with us that which is  Necessary  Useful  Essential

We don’t need to carry with us those things that w e i g h us d o w n

Laying our burdens down…  Disappointment  Grief and sadness  Anger  Bitterness  Hurt and pain  Unforgiveness  Unbelief  Personal sin

Nothing is wasted  In God’s economy everything is ploughed back in and used again. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5.18  Only by grace is this possible – For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8 v.9

JESUS-for us  Wounded for our healing  Punished for our forgiveness  Made sin for our righteousness  Died our death so we have his life  Made a curse, for us to have His blessing  Endured our poverty so we share His abundance  Bore our shame so we share His glory  Endured our rejection –so we’re accepted by the Father  Cut off from God – so we could be joined to God forever

Our old nature put to death in Him So that we could have His new life in us!!

Once we act, it’s never the same. Once I press myself into action, I immediately begin to live. Anything less is merely existing.
