Australian Centre for Field Robotics, University of Sydney Some of the challenges Algorithmic structures (and their proofs) – Which couple hybrid estimation and hybrid control – across many platforms But also an ability to group algorithms and their software implementations as affecters of metrics. Defining, measuring and analysing metrics both at the platform and mission levels which characterise the attributes. Formalisms of the notion of “mission effectiveness, stability and safety” using these formalisms to develop proofs/techniques/tools which would be used as part of the software/hardware engineering signatory process. Real time mission performance monitoring and adaptive real-time re-configurability of software and assets to meet mission needs. Real time assurances that software changes meet mission needs.
