Progress Report Pedro Flores

Scintillator Case Set to hold four scintillator panels with instrumentation. Only three panels with instrumentation that are in operation. Awaiting four new panels being built by Jennifer.

Using the Cosmic Ray E-Lab The “Coincidence level” option gives the number of detector hits required to accept this as a possible decay. The “Check energy of 2 nd pulse” feature allows the user to check to see if the second pulse is shorter in time than the first pulse. This may indicate less energy. The “Gate width” setting sets the window of time during which you will accept hits within a single detector for consideration as decay candidates.
