 1980 ◦ The world’s first Wind Farm established in New Hampshire, which consisted of 20 wind turbines.  Currently ◦ There are six large wind farms in Ontario which all produce 966MV.  Total turbines ◦ To date there are over 350 turbines in Ontario.  Houses Powered by Wind Farms ◦ One wind turbine can support the average annual electrical supply of approximately 300 homes. -
