Feed and Reboiler Pump Analysis ENCH 435 September 25 th, 2007 Jason Frizzell

How the Pumps Work Feed Pump is manually set via the computer from 0 to 4. Reboiler reservoir fills as long as the Feed Pump is on. Sensor on Reboiler determines when the Reboiler Pump turns on. Reboiler Pump turns on at a flow rate equal to that of the Feed Pump.

Calibration of the Feed Pump

Feed and Reboiler Pump Flow Rates

Conclusion Reboiler Pump is Controlled by the Fluid in the Reboiler Reservoir. Reboiler Reservoir fills based on the Feed Pump Area Under the Curves is Proportional to the Volume Flow Rate
