Computer Center, CS, NCTU 5 Syllabus – Grade Policy  Two Examinations: 25 ~ 30 % each  Open book  Exercises 35 ~ 40 % total 4 ~ 5 exercises One term project  Presentation and research 10%

Computer Center, CS, NCTU 6 Syllabus – Prerequisite  Background Knowledges It is better to have taken  “System Administration” ( 計算機系統管理 )  “Introduction to Networking” ( 計算機網路概論 )  Environment One dedicated PC (Or you can use virtual PC.)  With Unix-like OS installed (e.g. FreeBSD, Linux, Sun OS, …etc.)  FreeBSD is recommended, for the reason of TA supports. One extra IP  Yourself Attend every class Read book at least 6 hours every week Collect information on the internet Play with your FreeBSD at least 10 hours every week
