Chapter Objectives Show the configuration of a hardware firewall such as Dlink DI 604 Illustrate the sharing of a single Internet connection with multiple computers that are connected as a LAN using the firewall/switch

Overview of the Steps Connect the firewall to a client computer Set the IP address of the client computer to access the firewall Access the firewall and set the firewall properties such as the WAN IP addresses etc. Reset the IP address of the client from static IP to dynamic IP Connect the firewall to the WAN and LAN
