Graphic Arts - Multimedia (Structure of the Course)

Graphic Arts - Multimedia (Structure of the Course - Personnel)

The Faculty of Applied Arts was recently activated with the entrance of first students, which will study in the postgraduate program GRAPHIC ARTS and MULTIMEDIA. This program seems to be very popular, because it is the unique program of graphic arts in the Greek universities. Due to the limited number of research Greek groups, there is no actually close collaboration between the scientists, so that the exchange of scientific opinions and the transport of know-how are only based in collaboration of abroad. Graphic Arts - Multimedia (History of the Course)

The aim of proposed visit includes discussions of educational subjects, which are related with the figurative perception of graphic arts, their technological development due to the modern optical technologies and their use in multimedia applications. The visit’s results will be very useful at the initial phase of program GRAPHIC ARTS and MULTIMEDIA, however at the second year of studies, in which the students will attend the course of "Technology of Graphic Arts". The content of this subject is developed very rapidly and using “The Society of Information”, has led today to the absolute automation of productive process. Here are analytically examined all the modern methods that lead to the final configuration and completed form of printed materials. In the frame of visit, will be also discussed the possibility of students’ mobility using ERASMUS program. More specifically, will be investigated the case of students’ exchange and the realization of postgraduate thesis by limited number of interested individuals. Graphic Arts - Multimedia (Benefits)
