Information About Final Examination Economics 3479W Spring 2009

 Date: Friday, May 8, 2009  Time:1:00 – 3:00 p.m.  Place:ARJ 245  Examination week office hours: Monday, May 4, 10:00 – noon Wednesday, May 6, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

 Coverage:Chapters 7 – 14, 17  Format: Part A: 30 multiple-choice questions, 30 points Part B: 5 short answer/definitions, 6 points each, 30 points Part C: 2 problem solving questions, 20 points each, 40 points

✓ Preparation checklist  ❏ Review chapters  ❏ Review class notes  ❏ Review past quizzes, in-class exercises and midterm examination if necessary  ❏ Complete practice quizzes available on the publisher’s website

 ❏ Review “Key Terms” at the end of each chapter, and review “Flashcards” on the publisher’s website (good preparation for Part B of the examination)  ❏ Review “Questions For Review” at the end of each chapter (good preparation for Part B of the examination)  ❏ Review “Problems” at the end of each chapter (good preparation for Part C of the examination)

Other information  Put all your answers in the blue book provided. Turn in question sheet and blue book at the end of the examination.  Bring a calculator.  Your final grade is a combination of quizzes, midterm, final examination, papers, and points from group and class participation.  Course grade will be posted to PeopleSoft by noon on Tuesday, May 12,  You can come by to pick up your final examination and your final paper any time next semester.
