Lisbon, Portugal 2 Rosário Macário and José ViegasAims r The aim of ATEG (Assessment of Training and Educational Gaps) project is to conceive and implement a structure of knowledge that provides a good standard for training and education of BRT systems enabling to synthesize valuable information for the review of current training provision and standards in the different countries as well as to identify current needs Duration: 18 months Started: September 2010 Finish: Janeiro 2012

Lisbon, Portugal 3 Rosário Macário and José Viegas r Identify the needs of BRT agents (operators, authorities, third and fourth party suppliers, etc) in terms of competencies and knowledge. r Survey the knowledge and competencies provided by the courses offered in the different universities; r Compare stakeholders needs with the competencies available in the different countries as offered by main universities; r Propose solutions to overcome gaps between needs and offers and to share knowledge; r Propose a structured way of sharing knowledge on BRT systems.
