What is ® ? Similar to Inspiration in that it allows the learner to create a graphic organizer, but was designed with the K-5 learner in mind. Provides an easy, user friendly interface to organize the young learners thoughts and ideas. All of this is done through the use of Pictures, Text, and Spoken Words.

Challenges of Using Technology Buying registered software for all computers in the classroom Limited number of computers in the classroom Increased time to train students on the computer Deleted and lost work Technology Support

One Computer Classroom Kidspiration can still be used in a one computer classroom Students can be rotated to the computer during center time 1:1 help is provided by teacher during rotation Use it as an incentive (students earn time)

Example From Chanh’s Class In a low income site, with students who are not exposed to computers, lessons and activities with Kidspiration can still work. With one-on-one help from the teacher and modifying activities to help students use the computer.
