April 6, 2009Commissioning Needs-Coney3 Issues Detectors – —luminosity monitor o Brunel & Paul Soler working on this o Case for it will be made by Alain Blondel at video conference —Tracker cryostats o Cryostat 1 He leak gone – see discussion by Malcolm Ellis o Install emergency shutoff valves on cryostats – this week o Install exhaust filter – this week —CKOV o New temp and humidity monitoring device installed o Need network connection and power in the DSA – have temporary o HV power supply crate died – replaced w/new one – testing now Get Decay Solenoid magnet-on lights working —reposition light on top of turret; check light in ISIS vault – will be done this week
April 6, 2009Commissioning Needs-Coney4 Issues Documentation inventory/overhaul - ongoing —Instructions for shifters – things are in flux, old documentation needs updating —Safety – need all relevant documents in one obvious place Computing —Need network connections to progress in Hall —Still cannot print on OKI printer in R76 —Need Windows PC in MLCR – done next week —Need connection to GRID from MLCR – in progress Need beamline magnet on to test alarm handler —Pressure regulators installed on Q7-9, water pipe connections made in trench —Water restored to magnets – end of this week
