NIHR Trainees Coordinating Centre Eligibility and Entry Entry to ACFs may be at up to 4 different levels equating to ST1, 2, 3, and/or 4 (for Psychiatry and Paediatrics) Open to all doctors who can meet the entry requirements for entry into specialty training at a particular level Open to individuals in StR and SpR posts Applicants may also hold a higher degree Specialty specific NIHR ACFs are run through posts
NIHR Trainees Coordinating Centre NIHR Clinical Lectureships Academic and clinical training (ST3 and above) for those with a higher degree Available to qualified GPs and GDPs 50% academic research Support in making application for Clinician Scientist Award or similar Up to 4 years End point marked by CCT and substantial piece of post- doctoral research. £1000 bursaries Generally advertised by HEIs (March-March)

(HEI also receive specialist support, and indirect costs e.g. estates, research facilities at 80%). Full training and development Awards 3 years full time (part-time options of 75% or 60%) or up to 5 years for SRF Can be based at HEI or NHS Trust Annual competition for all levels Launch in Autumn, closing date - 18 th January 2012
