Procurement Services 2 Procurement Card (P-Card) Current contract with JP Morgan Chase ends 06/30/07 (old card) New GE P-Cards arrived end of May to mid-June 2007 JP Morgan Chase cards are being closed a few days after GE cards are activated by cardholders
Procurement Services 3 P-Card (continued) When you receive your new card: ACTIVATE card immediately. You will need: last 4 digits of your social security number card account number for cards with ATM, there will be a prompt for a 4 digit PIN number sign the back of the card shred your old card save the enclosure for future reference
Procurement Services 4 PCard (continued) Use your new card Current capabilities are transferred For P-Cardholders who are out of town, especially on UM travel and they need their old card Contact the P-Card office to extend the current card for a limited time If the traveler is in one location, consider mailing the new card to them
Procurement Services 5 P-Card (continued) Stop doing business with your old card in June. For recurring charges on your old card (subscriptions, cell phone bills or pages) contact the vendor to change P-Card numbers.
Procurement Services 6 P-Card (continued) Over 5,800 new P-Cards were created by GE in the initial roll out and mailed directly to cardholders. As of 6/13/07 a total of 3,703 GE cards were activated.
