Cesar Chavez Holiday Parade Sunday April 3 rd 2005 Presented by: Dani Pe ñ a Vanessa Martinez And Loubna Qutami

The Cesar Chavez Holiday parade is a day of celebration of the accomplishments and life of Cesar E. Chavez. The celebration is a tradition in the streets of San Francisco for the San Francisco Latino community and any other people who support workers rights, and immigrant rights. The Parade celebrated Chicano culture as well as promoting civil rights and workers rights for all people of color living in the United States.

Eva Royale, coordinator of the Cesar Chavez Holiday Parade and director of the Dolores Huerta Foundation gives Channel 5 News an explanation about what the political and cultural message is of the Cesar Chavez Holiday Parade.
