Let’s Make Good Food Choices

Objective To teach pre-school children how to make good food choices. March 30, 2006

How can we help our bodies stay healthy? By healthy eating, exercising, sleeping, brushing our teeth, taking baths, and washing our hands often!

What kinds of foods help keep us healthy? Fruits, vegetables, breads and cereals, meat, eggs, and milk.

What are your favorite breads and cereals? Whole grain breads, rolls, bagels, and cereals??

What are your favorite dairy foods? Who likes ice cream? Cheese, milk, eggs, yogurt, ice cream??

Can you find your favorite fruits and vegetables? Carrots, squash, tomatoes, apples, oranges, grapefruit??

Now let’s find your favorite healthy food choices on the alphabet chart! Good Job!!!
