Notes Each sub-system is (broadly responsible for its control system ISIS have control over the target which is in the ISIS ring MICE safety system co-ordinates interlocks, alarms and bells Magnet monitoring system may or may not control the magnets it may just pass on data to the safety system MICE data acquisition is the “experiment” that can take data from any of the control systems MICE considered as an instrument on ISIS
