Transportation for LD Departure times form each accommodation to LD Start Univers T at 07:00 and 08:30 (Buss No. 1.) Liceu de Informatika and Hotel Gala at 07:00, 08:00 and 09:00 (Buss No. 5.) Quarantine zone  At the check-in to the quarantine zone  athletes and coaches must show their accreditation card  give a signature  and athletes should present their start number and SI card as well  Only one entrance is allowed!  The use of mobile phones or any other communication device inside the quarantine zones is strictly forbidden. The use of old map is also prohibited.  Shelters are provided, but to set own tent is allowed.

Start area scheme

Long Distance Terrain and Maps  terrain is situated between m above sea level  hilly, many contour details, steep valleys  deciduous forest, variable runability and visibility  map scale: 1:10.000; contour interval: 5m; size: A3, protected with plastic bags  special symbols – please check the eyoc2015.orienteering.ro

Additional information  Refreshment controls  are marked in the control description  only still water will be provided in plastic glasses – no isotonic drinks or own refreshment  placing of refreshment controls in percentage of course length M18 at about 57%M16 at about 49%, W18 at about 40%W16 at about 35%  There are new fallen trees over some paths which are not shown on the map.  Due to high grass around the finish area, there is already a prepared access to the last control, which is not shown on the map, but it is on the way to the control.

Nominal Entries for Relay  Deadline 14:00  Entry forms should submit before 8:00 AM in Hotel Sport, or between 9:00 – 14:00 at Event Office in the Finish Arena Mix relays  Entry forms are available at the Event Office.  You can agree between each other, or simple give the names to the EO and organizers will compile relays.  Team Officials are not allowed to start in Mix-Relay! Please take care with forms, use the correct one for nominal entries! Relay entries

Questions & Answers

Question / Answers Q: Could the terrain be as slippery as it was today? A: In rainy weather yes. Q: Will the courses cross a paved road, where fast traffic is expected? A: No, courses will not cross a paved road. But between Pre Start (minus 7) and start (minus 3) there is a crossing with guards. Q: Where is the Finish and how can we find it? A: Finish Area for EYOC and Transilvania Open are the same. You can get more info here: Bulletin 3.

Question / Answers Q: Are GPS watches allowed? A: During the competition not, but they are allowed to use during warm up. Q: Will be any race organized for coaches? A: No, there will be no organized race. But coaches are welcome to enter to Transilvania Open, which will use the same area as EYOC. Q: What about to start breakfast period earlier? A: We informed the accommodations and requested an earlier start. They try to arrange as early as possible, but not before 6:00.
