DirecTV Design Requirement
What is STB control and what does it do? Allows simple control of the H25 DTV receivers through Maestro Allows remote management of both the Zv channels and the DirecTV channels
ZvSTB Control Connect active H25 directly to TV Navigate to Config page: Assign IP address and make note for easy reference later Set a default gateway Set a DNS server (optional) Navigate to Whole-Home page: Set external access to “Allow” Set Current Program to “Allow” Navigate to Video Setting Page and set allowed resolutions If connected to HDb2500, set 720p If connected to HDb2600, set to 1080i (or 720p)-optional First you must configure every STB with a static IP address
Configuring Maestro for STB Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Connect to Maestro by entering the IP address on the ZvBox Click to the STB Tab Enter the IP address of the STB and click “Apply” All of the information will populate

Converting a File Step 1: download and install ZVConvert: http://zeevee.com/support/tools Currently this only works with a PC (Not with a Mac) Launch ZVC and load the file by dragging it to the window.
Using ZvConvert After loading the file to be converted ZVC will show general information at the top and configuration options at the bottom
Uploading a File Log into Maestro by typing the IP address of the unit into the browser.
Configuring Channel Line Up and Enabling ZvShow ZvShow channel will appear in the last subchannel for the first RF Will show as “disabled” - Switch to “enabled” and hit “apply”
Televisions usually require a full rescan to detect the addition of a new logical channel
