eSmart background The Alannah and Madeline Foundation and the National Centre Against Bullying (NCAB): ●Recognised the need to address a new trend: The shift of bullying campaigns to cyberspace ●Consulted and conducted an international literature review, schools’ needs analysis, and qualitative study (contracted RMIT School of Education/Dr Helen McGrath). ●Consulted library industry and local government areas and have begun the national pilot. 9

Feedback 10 Over 94% of pilot libraries consider the initiative as valuable to their library service. “ The website walkthrough showcased how comprehensive and 'fail-proof' the program is.” “An eSmart Library has the potential to be the catalyst in the community to up skill everyone to be cybersmart.”
