Feudal Terms Vassals- Lesser Lords Knight- Mounted Warrior Serfs- Peasants who were bound to the land. They couldn’t be bought or sold Fief- Estate given to a lesser lord. This included the peasants, buildings and towns Feudal Contract- Lesser lords who received land from more powerful lords in exchange for service and loyalty
