We can give points names. Here there are many points.  A point is an exact location in space.

A line is a straight path of points that goes on and on in two directions. A line segment is a part of a line. It has two endpoints.  Line

A ray is a part of a line. It has one endpoint and continues on and on in only one direction.

An angle is formed by 2 rays that have the same end point. The common end point is called the vertex.

A Protractor is used to measure the size of angles. It measures in degrees.

 Circumference  Diameter  Chord  Radius

The diameter goes through the center of the circle.  The diameter is any line segment that connects two points on the circle and passes through the center.

RADIUSMust touch the center  The radius is any line segment that connects the center to a point on the circle.

Chord Does not go through the center.  A chord is any line segment that connects two points on the circle.
