POINT An exact location in space represented by a dot to name a point: only one letter is used Real World example:Maps

Line a set of points that form a straight path that goes in opposite directions without ending To name a line: any two points on the line can name the entire line. Real World Example: number line

Line Segment part of a line between two endpoints to name a line segment: name any End point and then another point on the line ex: naming the sides of a figure

Ray part of a line that has one endpoint and continues without end in one direction to name a ray: You must begin with the endpoint for the “first name” and another point for the “last name” real world example: naming angles
