To Do Today Problem Definition: Write at least one paragraph the summaries your problem and answers the following: What are the basic characteristics of your problem? Where does your problem seem to be worst? Why is this a problem? How does your problem affect different groups of people, plants, or wildlife? How did your problem become a problem in the first place? What policies already exists to deal with your problem? Who is in charge of these policies on the local, state, and national level? What citizen groups exist to handle your problem? What are citizen groups doing to counteract your problem? You may use your phones as research tools Make sure you have evidence for your answers in the form of articles for your binder.

Alternatives Discussion Choose at least four alternative solutions to your problem For each solution, detail three positive features and three negative features (pros and cons) You may use your phones as research devices Make sure you have evidence for all or your pros and cons in the form of articles for your binder

Solutions Question Pick one alternative or a mixture of alternatives that you think will be the best solution to your problem. Write research questions about that solution Divide the questions among your group.
