Materials  Cardstock  Tissue paper in various colors  Glue  Water  Black marker  Black India ink  Paint Brushes  Photo for examples

Process 1. Apply tissue paper to cardstock using a solution of white glue and water 2. Overlap colored pieces of tissue paper to achieve new tones. 3. Trace over the contour lines of a photo with a marker. This will be a guide for you when drawing your silhouette image. 4. Using a pencil, draw on surface of tissue paper design to create a silhouette form. 5. Fill in the form using India ink. You can outline the form first using black permanent marker.
