What is Socrative? Socrative is a smart student response system that empowers teachers by engaging their classrooms with a series of educational exercises, games, and assessments. Creating a “Multiple Choice” question Type in the question here! Add each answer choice on a separate line. If you need more answer response lines, click on the term “add.” Provide learner with additional explanation or hint if desired. Add an image to the question if desired. Click on the box with the correct answer. Very important for grading! 21

How To Add Another Question Select the type of question you would like to add. Krupp: Socrative 24

What do these buttons do? Allows you to move the question up or down. In other words, question 3 can move to question 2, by pressing the up button and vice versa. The “x” gets rid of the question. Krupp: Socrative 25

Explanation of types of pacing Student Paced – Immediate Feedback Student Paced- Student Navigation Teacher Paced Students receive immediate right/wrong feedback and explanations after they answer each question. Students answer questions in order and cannot skip or change their answers. Students have the ability to edit questions, skip questions and navigate the quiz their own way. Once they’ve completed their questions they submit the entire assessment. Teachers control the flow of questions. You send one question at a time, and visualize the responses as they happen. Additional Settings To keep scores private make sure names are disabled. Great to randomize if taking a student-paced quiz and other students can see each other’s screens. To ensure cheating is not happening between screens during the student-paced assessment, using these options secure the test more. Krupp: Socrative34
