Focus on Three Imperatives Dare to Compare! The very first time we were submitting a transcript through Parchment we did an experiment. We mailed one transcript the “old-fashioned” way and then - at the same time - we processed and uploaded the same transcript to Parchment. With Parchment, we were able to get the tracking number and the exact date and time that everything was sent and received. We uploaded the transcript at 2:15 PM and within 15 minutes received acknowledgement from the college that the transcript had been received. At 2:30 p.m. when the college acknowledged receipt of the Parchment transcript, the transcript sent manually was still sitting in the outgoing mail receptacle of our school’s front office. One week later we contacted the college and they claimed that the paper transcript had not been received. However, they were able to locate the Parchment Transcript through the Parchment Document ID Number. This confirmed to us the efficiency of the Parchment Transcript Service!
