After you have “studied” for 10 minutes, take a 5 minute break to rest your mind and then set the timer again to do another 10 minutes.

 The pages of the VA Studies notebook covering the topic that the quiz or test will be over.

 Look for key words, ideas, maps, and pictures.

 Remember the main things about what Miss O. taught us.

 DON’T HIGHLIGHT EVERYTHING.  Only highlight the key words.

 On note cards or notebook paper.  Draw a picture nearby to remind you of the idea.
