Starter Think of a special place which is important to you. You must have a reason why it is important.

For this topic everyone is going to have a pilgrimage passport where you can record which different places of pilgrimage we have looked at 1. You need to fill in the details page of your passport 2. Your homework is to make an interesting cover for your passport. 3. Each lesson you need to design a ‘visa stamp’ for each of the places you have looked at. Each stamp should show something about the place.

What is a Pilgrimage ? Pilgrimage is a journey of spiritual significance. Often, a pilgrimage involves visiting a significant place which reflects spiritual and religious beliefs.

Places of Pilgrimage often become “special” because of something that happened there. Have you somewhere that is special to you – perhaps because of happy memories, or because it is peaceful and beautiful?
