The Giver – R.A.F.T. Writing IEI Choose one of the following RAFT assignments and pretend you are a character in The Giver. You will have to think like that character, based on what you’ve read. Write an argument to persuade your audience about your topic. Your argument should include a thesis, at least three reasons, a counterargument and rebuttal, and concrete details from the novel.
