Hello, How are you doing? Today, we are going to start a new lesson on customary capacity units.

Capacity Capacity is defined as a measure of dry or liquid volume of a container. Example – The capacity of the container is 1 gallon.

Customary Units of Capacity Customary Units of capacity are –  Cups (c)  Pint (pt)  Quart (qt)  Gallon (gal)

Relation in Customary units 1 pint (pt) = 2 cups (c) 1 quart (qt) = 4 cups 1 quart (qt) = 2 pints (pt) 1 gallon = 4 quarts (qt)
