KRONOS UPGRADE Version 6.3
New Look / Same Kronos This update is related to the upgrade of Kronos to version 6.3. Once you login, there is not much change to functionality but there is a new look. This training will help you navigate around and understand the new lay out of the system.
Workspace This new version of Kronos uses a WORKSPACE which is a collection of one or more ‘widgets’ that are bound together for completing a task or solving a specific business problem. A WIDGET is a self-contained component that is used to access specific Kronos functionality or tasks. The widgets you see are based on your user access.
Widget Controls GEAR ICON – A small icon shaped like a gear in the upper right corner of each widget. If you wish to make a smaller widget the center of your workspace, you can ‘pop-out’ that widget to make it larger. Click the ‘gear’ symbol in the upper right corner and choose ‘Pop-Out’.
My Timecard Widget This allows employees to view clock ins and clock outs, missed punches and GPT time added. Your work schedule is also listed in the Right Hand column.
This BOX is used to maximize your widget to provide the greatest level of visibility. From this drop down you can choose the time frame that you want to view.
Quick Links Widget Once you choose a specific task, you will be brought to a new screen. (See Next Slide)
Employee Inbox allows you to see messages from GPT Requests, etc.
You can still submit Time Off Requests if your manager is having you submit them now through Kronos.
My Work and Absence Summary will allow employees to view missed punches and GPT taken within a certain time period.
You can expand or decrease by clicking on the box for increased visibility. My Time Off Balance Widget GPT/ELB Balances can be found on this widget.
If you would like to navigate away from the My Time off Balance Widget, click the Pop Out Dial on another widget and that will expand to the center of your screen.
