HERES A DIAGRAM OF THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM!!

The muscular system is a very important system in your body. Without the muscular system you would not be able to even move your finger! Cool Muscle Facts: *Your body has about 630 muscles. *Your muscles can only pull, not push. *Muscles usually work in pairs to fix this problem. *You have 30 facial muscles that let you make facial expressions. *Your eye muscles move more than 100,000 times a day

THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF MUSCLES. Skeletal muscles -help move the body. Cardiac muscles-help the heart beat. Smooth muscles- help with airways and help materials travel.

THE UPPER BODY MUSCLES In your arms you have your biceps, triceps, and deltoids. These muscles allow your arms to move in many different ways and work together to do so. In your chest you have your pectorals. This muscle helps support your upper body and helps to move your arms and your upper body. The sternocleidomastoid muscle is located in the back of your neck and helps you move your neck.

THE LOWER BODY MUSCLES In your lower body you have your buttocks muscle, hip flexors, quadriceps, hamstrings, anterior tibialis (muscle in the front of the shin), gastrocnemius (muscle in the calf). All these muscles help you bend your legs, run, walk, jump, and etc.
