Using sport, play and arts we work to address a range of cross cutting agendas that fit in with the Council’s priority outcomes, particularly ‘Promoting health, wellbeing and independence’ and ‘Supporting vulnerable people, reducing inequalities’.

The CSC’s act as the delivery arm of the Service. All coaches work on a wide range of programmes such as SSP Package (Key Stage 1& 2), Care Home Games, Here & Now (targeting community activity in hard to reach areas), Adoption/Needs Group Coastal – Beach Sports - increasing physical activity levels on the ER Coast Healthy Lifestyle – Encouraging young people to get fit and active –e.g. FRESH Disability – Engaging a range of disability groups - Special Schools, Day Centres. Alzheimer's, Stroke Groups Street Games – Community activity to targeted young people – US Girls, Skatepark, Street Games Outdoor Adventure – Team building exercises and outdoor community/school activity Rural – Community activity for older people e.g. Inter Village Games
