Green PEA: Beginnings Borough of Poole became a signatory of the EU Covenant of Mayors in 2012 Commitment to reduce Poole’s carbon emissions by 20% by 2020 Poole-based businesses and representatives from the Borough of Poole and Poole Chamber Innovative energy saving and carbon reduction scheme launched in October 2013

Green PEA: Funding Green PEA’s delivery partner AVC funding offer: Energy Performance Contract Funding of energy upgrades from energy savings Implementation of energy efficiency or renewable energy project Remuneration is based on demonstrated performance. No lower limits to project costs but payback period must be a maximum of 5 years.

Green PEA: Christchurch & East Dorset Christchurch and East Dorset have recognised the credibility of the scheme Green PEA was soft launched at three Growth Plan Events throughout November 2014 Christchurch and East Dorset are fully committed to helping local organisations reduce carbon emissions and save money Over 30 organisations asked for more information with 9 members already registered New meetings are happening on a weekly basis Official launch in the next few months

Green PEA Current Position 42 Green PEA Members Current Savings over a ten year period: from installed recommendations, members will save: £108,418 and 519,232kg CO 2
