Economy, Per. 1 Colombia's economy can be divided into 4 general periods The First period ended in 1880 During this time Colombia had no stable exports to create profit This played a huge role in Colombia's economy People and organizations were not able to purchase goods that were produced in other countries
Economy, Per. 2 This general period lasted from 1880 to 1930 During these 50 years Colombia exported coffee on a ridiculous scale The goal of this mass exportation was to pay for manufactured goods Industrialization also started to develop

Climate Colombia is so close to the equator that altitude is the only factor of climate The Coastal and Eastern planes are at a low, tropical climate The mountains to the north are a nice climate of degrees yearly. They are a good place for agriculture The cold regions, 6,000 to 9,000 feet above sea level, have an average temperature of 53 degrees.
