 New Hampshire first introduced Indistar as a tool for Schools in Need of Improvement (SINI) and Districts in Need of Improvement (DINI)  Our ESEA Waiver (June 2013) led to a revision of our Indicators which align with the Seven US Department of Education’s Turnaround Principles.  Title I Focus Schools and Priority Schools, 40 in all, select one to three indicators for each of the Seven Turnaround Principles.  In response to Technical Assistance requested from our schools, and data from our Tri-annual Review, the NHDOE in collaboration with our national partners, CEELO, SWIFT and Indistar are building out additional indicators in the following areas:  School-Wide Integrated Framework for Transformation (SWIFT)  Early Childhood  Family Engagement
