Create a Document Write down the following: Login webpage Username Email address Have students create a Word document that contains, the login URL, their username and their email address. Putting all the information in one place will make it easier for students to login next time. They can even copy and paste their username from this document to the website (instead of typing it all out each time). Example: I login at this website: login.microsoftonline.com My username is: smith.j123456@students.rentonschools.us My email address is: smithjoh000@students.rentonschools.us
Login What is my username? The same username used when logging into a computer, with @students.rentonschools.us added (last name . first initial + internal ID number) For example John Smith #123456 Will login using: smith.j123456@students.rentonschools.us Please double check this username if a student has issues logging in. It is very easy to make typo here.
How to Access Your Email Using a web browser navigate to: https://login.microsoftonline.com This URL is also on the letter sent home by pilot teachers. Teachers consider putting this link on your SWIFT site.
Login Use your regular computer login: Students should not use the Office 365 option to change their password. Technology Services has a tool that automatically syncs passwords between the computer login and the student email one.
