Pick up two reading sheets from the front table. 一 Bell Ringer Pick up two reading sheets from the front table. Look at the bottom to make sure you have picked up reading p.1, p.2, p.3, and p.4. Turn to page 2. The first sentence says “Article II lists the powers Congress has.” Cross out the II (two) and write a I (one) instead.

二 Anatomy of a Constitution Reading Today we are going to read around the room. If you are not ready to read, you will not be able to earn today’s points. Everyone will have a chance to read out loud.

三 Three Branches Race instructions There are three letters on the walls: L, E, and J. L is for legislative branch E is for executive branch J is for judicial branch When a question appears on the board, move to the correct letter. If you answer incorrectly, you will be eliminated. If you take too long to move to the correct answer, you will be eliminated.
