Get Ready… Post the school-wide rules/expectations near main office Post the Principal’s 200 Club chart next to school-wide rules Introduce Principal's 200 Club to students during morning announcements Place Celebrity 200 Book in prominent area for everyone to view Place Mystery Motivator envelope near chart or on Principal’s door Get Set… Principal introduces 200 Club to students at an assembly Explain how the 200 Club ticket works Describe staff member roles Identify the Celebrity 200 Book Describe Parent Contact Explain the chance to win a prize Describe the “Mystery Motivator” Go! Distribute 10 tickets per day to staff Determine when tickets may be turned in to office One staff member congratulates student and makes parent call Student signs Celebrity 200 Book and draws a number for chart or signs name on chart Winners and Mystery Motivator are announced when a row gets filled

Tips Parent Contact Tips Get buy-in from staff before implementing Start program at beginning of year or after a break Before introducing, allow several days for students to view chart and book to build curiosity Provide a big Mystery Motivator a few times per year Periodically draw 3 or 4 staff names for a staff reward Give hints about the Mystery Motivator during announcements Not all students will get a prize – that’s what makes it fun Parent Contact Tips Inform parents about this program prior to implementing Student is present while staff member makes the parent call Begin call with “Congratulations!” If no answer, leave a message If no answer, send a postcard Caller should be positive and enthusiastic Caller specifically states why student received a 200 ticket
