Roof Strength Calculation Simulation of falling container 4.5 ton from 5m equals 1230kN! Deformation : 10mm Deformation : 20mm Load in center of main beam Load next to main beam 9 Co-financed by European Union Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) Ad Schroot
BUNOVA CFD Simulation Only the air flow is calculated, no actual gas leaks are simulated. It is widely accepted that for a semi enclosed space, such as the LNG room of the Eiger, the ventilation is sufficient if the refreshment rate is more than 12 times per hour. So the residence time in each part of the room should be smaller than 3600/12 = 300 seconds. Goal : Approach : Analysis of the explosion safety in case of gas leaks, by investigating the ventilation rate of the LNG tank room. Conclusion :On average every 220 seconds, the engine room is refreshed 10 Co-financed by European Union Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) Ad Schroot
