We are a group of professional medical caregivers established at different facilities throughout the Pikes Peak region but with one common goal... Excellence Inspired by Compassion. Our locations stretch from Monument to the World Arena... from Woodland Park to Briargate and the Woodmen/Powers corridor. The majority of our offices are primary care, however, we do have a limited number of excellent specialist offices in the group. The benefits of joining a multiple-physician practice like MVMG is that you can find the right doctor, close to home or work, that has the ability to collaborate with our other physicians in the network to provide excellent care for you and your family. Our physicians and staff are very friendly and take the time to listen to patients and speak to them clearly to answer their medical questions. Mountain View Medical Group is consistent in its operations and vision while maintaining slightly different cultures at each site. We share common goals and each person in MVMG is held accountable to deliver the highest level of patient care, quality and customer service. We are committed to being the best patient care group in the community. With our completed installation of the Electronic Health Records (EHRs) system we can now better serve our patients, whenever and wherever it is needed

Mountain View Medical Group – Our challenge, why Informatics, the project, and future plans

The content of this presentation represents the views of the author and presenters. GE, the GE Monogram, Centricity and Imagination at Work are trademarks of General Electric Company.

Mt. View’s Challenge Siloed Data: previously using multiple tools to report on both Centricity Group Management and Centricity EMR Self-Service BI: needed multiple user capability and daily updated dashboards for C-suite Report Distribution: create and distribute reports to payors for payor incentives

Why Mt. View chose Informatics Informatics has existing data models and experience for both Centricity Group Management and Centricity EMR Informatics has a library of Centricity Group Management reports and dashboards

The project Data Load Was Smooth THE GOOD THINGS Server Setup Was Easy Data Issues Resolved Quickly Web and On-Site Training Group Management Knowledge Modules Loaded Not Listed THE BAD THINGS Delays in Hardware Field Names Confusing More Administrative Training Compressed Timeline

Future plans Adding Informatics for Centricity EMR to the implementation Creating PQRS, Meaningful Use, NCQA® and PCMH monitoring reports and dashboards
