WASKOWITZ OUTDOOR SCHOOL

Waskowitz is located 35 miles east of Seattle in North Bend, WA

Snoqualmie Falls Before arriving at Waskowitz, students first visit the Snoqualmie Falls.

Puget Sound Energy Students also learn how waterfalls generate electricity from local Puget Sound Energy experts.

After departing Snoqualmie Falls, it is a short drive to Camp Waskowitz

Welcome to Waskowitz Outdoor School

Waskowitz cabins Students stay the week in heated dorm style cabins with our high school leaders and an adult staff member.

Cabin Facilities From dorm room games and friendship circles to full night’s rest in your very own bed, Waskowitz living is clean and cozy.

High School Leaders Each high school leader heads up a group of 7-9 students for the week. Together, you will turn Waskowitz into home.

Each day begins and concludes with a flag ceremony

Our nurse oversees the well being of all our students Nurse Jackie Our nurse oversees the well being of all our students

Meal Time Our Waskowitz cooking staff prepares three hardy meals per day that are served all-you-can-eat family style.

After Meal Program No meal would be complete without song and entertainment. …and super heroes?

Kitchen Party! After every meal one cabin will be assigned to clean up the dining hall

Skits and Songs Each week the Waskowitz theatre comes to life when cabin groups create and perform their own productions

River Science Students participate in ongoing Snoqualmie River ecology and water chemistry experimentation

Cedar River Watershed Waskowitz Outdoor School partners with Seattle Public Utilities in an educational program to teach students about environmental impacts and conservation of their drinking water.
