1. Development of Medical Superspecialities  Cardiology (Cath Lab for Angiography & Angioplasty)  Nephrology  Neurology  Medical Gastroenterology  Nuclear Medicine  Geriatrics  Medical Oncology

 Urology  Surgical Oncology  Surgical Gastroenterology  Cardiothoracic Surgery (Open Cardiac Surgery) Note: Separate departments of Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Paediatric Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery already exist 2. Development of Surgical Superspecialities

a) First Phase: To start MCH Courses in Paediatric Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology and DM Courses in Cardiology and Endocrinology. b) Second Phase: To start DM/MCH Courses in Nephrology, Neurology, Medical Gastroenterology, Critical Care, Urology and other Superspecialities c) Courses related to New Trauma Centre (under PMSSY) MS (Trauma) & MD (Emergency Medicine) 3. To start DM / MCH courses in Superspecialities

1.Development of Trauma Centre and Modernization of Emergency services 2.Establishment of Cancer Tertiary Care Centre (CTCC). 3.Establishment of IVF Unit in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. 4.Upgradation of Clinical Laboratories 5.Modernization and Upgradation of Operation Theaters 6.Inculcation of responsible work culture. (Discipline, Punctuality, Accountability etc.) 7.Quality Control : - Medical Audit - Mortality Review Committee (at Dept. & Faculty levels) Other Initiatives
