February/March Meetings with College Advisor to address: What do I want? Develop preliminary college list Ideas for colleges to visit over Spring Break If applicable, cover NCAA Clearinghouse Plan for meaningful summer activity

April/May Shape the list after visits - preliminary list in Naviance by end of May Final rec decisions - ask teachers to write for you Testing update Essay brainstorming Course sign-ups College fair at Hotchkiss

Summer your college advisor about research and college visits/interviews Update Naviance and let advisor know Sign up for October SAT’s and ACT’s Method Test Prep – accessed through Naviance Send a draft of your essay to your advisor August 1 st start your Common App
