LO# 1 Sy’s Fish Company Sy’s Fish Company owns a chain of wholesale fish stores. The company has grown rapidly over the last few years and now operates eight different stores. The company is poised to expand further, but first needs to develop a better accounting information system. This project involves a thorough analysis of Sy’s Fish Company business processes to assess opportunities for improvement and implementation of a prototype integrated database to provide financial and management information. The Sy’s Fish Project is based on a project developed by Bill McCarthy, Professor, Michigan State University.
