To empower students to speak openly about mental health in order to educate others and encourage help-seeking. Active Minds is changing the culture on campuses and in the community by providing information, leadership opportunities, and advocacy training to the next generation. Our Mission

Suicide is the 2 nd leading cause of death among college students

1 in 4 adults live with a diagnosable mental health disorder

Nearly half of all college students feel so depressed at some point they have trouble functioning

Anorexia is the third most common chronic illness among adolescents. An estimated % of people with anorexia or bulimia are men.
