(Leader): Father of all mercies, we pray for the families who have fled their homes in fear. We lift up the mothers and fathers who have escaped with only their children, leaving everything else behind. Their country has changed, their lives will never be the same and they are afraid of the future.

(All): Lord, you are the God who heals. Please bring your comfort and healing to those who are hurting. Photo: Hannah Maule-ffinch/Tearfund
